Our longest sail to date: We left Trinidad at midnight on Sunday morning and sailed 80 hours downwind to Aruba. It was about 500 miles as the crow flies and about 600 miles through the water.
Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10 : to Chaguramas, Trinidad (map)
We sailed slowly and then motored through the night to arrive in Chaguaramas in the morning.
Wednesday, August 8 : to Store Bay, Tobago (map)
After Pete and Andy left on Tuesday, the boat seemed very quiet. Tony, Gayle and I motored back to Store Bay where there are other sailboats around.
Sunday, August 5 : to Buccoo, Tobago (map)
We sailed and motored around the corner to Buccoo Bay. What was supposed to be an easy afternoon sail turned into a wet and windy one.
Thursday, Aug 2 and Friday, Aug 3 : to Store Bay, Tobago (map)
We left the anchorage at Grand Anse in the late afternoon and sailed through the night to Store Bay, Tobago.
Wednesday, Aug 1 : to Grand Anse, Grenada (map)
We left the dock at the Port Louis Marina and motored round the corner to anchor off the pretty Grand Anse beach.
