San Blas Islands, Panama

We had an excellent 24 hour beam-reach sail from Cartegena to the San Blas islands. Siggy and Hilary took a couple of watches from me and Gayle so it was a cushy trip for all but Pete and Tony (but they like sailing).

There are no interwebs here. I am sending this on a slow, creaky, edge network. But, the islands are picture perfect. And, yesterday, we bought fresh fish and molas from Kuna people who came up to the boat in dugout canoes.

  1. Glad to hear you made it! Enjoy the islands. You were all the topic of happy conversation last night at wickys harp recital. Looking forward to your next blog update. :-).

  2. The spirit of Laura (and Wren) is there in San Blas.

Paddling near the Kuna. Taking photos with my mind.

    I want to hear more!

  3. So glad you made it. Save some mola for CJ and I. We will see you in 3 days! I’m packing right now. Can’t wait!!!!
